UBO Continental Titles: Nigerians Face Ghanaians On May 9 Edition of Cabic Big Fight Night at the Idrowhyt Events Centre on Friday
The press conference and weigh in for Ghanaian and Nigerian boxers fighting for the UBO Continental Africa Championship took place successfully at the fight venue and GBA office this afternoon.
The fixtures are as follows:

A misunderstanding on the sanction fee for the two UBO titles between Ghana and Nigeria boxers had to be settled at the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) office where the fighters were weighed.
The President, Abraham Neequaye of the GBA was seen displaying the titles after demanding $1,000 before the bouts will come one.
All attempts to use administrative procedures to get work done calmly did not materialise, as the President was seen displaying anger at the Idrowhyt Events Centre after weigh some boxers and drove off from the place together with Board Member Alhaji Toffik, the Deputy PRO and medics.
Yours Truly as Media Consultant to Cabic Promotions organised a successful press conference to herald two UBO titles and introduce the boxers fighting on May 9 at Idrowhyt Events Centre ‘The Big Fight Night’ brought up by Cabic Promotions.
However, luckily another GBA Board Member Mr. John Marfo saved the situation as he graced the press conference ahead of the fight. He assured the Nigerians that all safety measures will ne put in place for the bouts.
He said the GBA is very strict on ensuring safety and security as all protocol, medical and immigration processes must be adhered to.
Some Nigeria media accompanying their boxers prayed for a incident free event.
Boxers from the sister countries showed love as they hugged each other.
At the GBA office where the GBA President supervised, Ghana’s Kofi Dana who faces experienced Tyson Killer from Nigeria weighed 151.1 pounds while Olagbade stood at 154 pounds. The fight is expected to be full of fireworks.
The other Nigerian Yusuf Muhammed Olalekan also weighed 130 pounds while Emmanuel Mankattah Sackey of Ghana scaled at 126.6 pounds.

Match Maker and Ring Announcer Sam Nana Gold who was glad after the settlement of issues later posed with the boxers on the Cabic Big Fight Night happening tomorrow Friday at the Idrowhyt Events Centre. He assured of an interesting bill as the boxers were specially selected on the exclusive six bouts bill.
